HP LASER 4250 PAPER JAM; PAPER NEVER LEAVES TRAY
Q: I have an HP laserjet 4250 paper jam that won’t seem to go away. Sometimes if I am lucky a page will make it out, but for the most part, the printer turns over and then just says error Paper jam in tray 2. The funny thing is that tray 1 seems to work just fine. Though this is a work around I need to use the 500 sheet cassette tray for high volume print jobs. Any suggestions to fix my hp 4250 paper jam?
Noisy HP LASERJET 4250 Printer Paper Jam
Q: I have an HP Laserjet 4250 that is noisy and has numerous jams.
When I look into the event log the following error is present: HP laser 4250 13.05.00 Fuser output paper late jam. Any ideas?
A: So you have a very noisy hp laserjet 4250n printer that is paper jamming? Noisy hp 4250 printers that are jamming seem to have problems with the fuser gears and with the gears of the swing plate assembly engaging each other. When the upper fuser roller gear and the gears at the swing assembly become worn the printer can become very noisy because the gears are not interconnecting properly. The gears, if broken can cause the 4250 to paper jam at the fuser. My recommendation is to replace the fuser assembly rm1-1082 and swing plate assembly part number RM1-0043.
Re: Q: After taking a closer look the duplexer and reinstalling it, the printer has ceased with its noisy ways. It looks as though the duplexer was not seating properly and in turn not engaging with the fuser assembly which resulted in my hp laser 4250 paper jam
A: The Problem with your noisy laserjet 4250 jamming is probably the swing plate assy. This assy, which drives the fuser, can wear down and become defective. This is very common within the HP laserjet 4250 4350 series printers. Replacing the gear assy and in some cases the fuser also, will certainly solve your noisy paper jamming 4250 printer.
HP LASERJET 4250 tn Error 13.05 Paper Jam
Q: I have an hp laser 4250 error 13.05.00 paper jam. After opening the toner access lid and removing the toner I see that the paper never makes it though the fuser. What could be causing this 13.05.00 paper jam?
A: It is common for the fuser and swing plate assembly gears to wear out, and in some occasions break within the HP 4250 4350 series printers. With broken gears the assemblies fail to engage each other and will often result in an hp 4250 error 13.05.00 paper jam. First you will want to check to see if the rollers that the paper comes out of in the top of the machine are turning. If they are not it means the gears are failing to engage and you will have to replace either the fuser with an hp laserjet 4250 fuser kit or a 4250 swing plate assembly, or even both. Remove the fuser and inspect the gears for any visible damage in the teeth. If the gears in the 4250 fuser appear intact, it is most likely safe to assume the swing plate assembly is at the root of your hp laser 4250 paper jam.
HP LASER JET 4250 DTN 13.20 PAPER JAM IN TRAY 2
Q: I am currently experiencing a 13.20 paper jam in tray 2 with my hp laser 4250. The printer will print one blank sheet of paper and then show the 13.20 jam. Any suggestions?
A: If the paper tray for the laserjet 4250 printer is not set to the intended size the user can experience 13.20 paper jams. To check you will want to pull the paper tray out and confirm that the rear and side adjustments are set to their intended size. The laser 4250 paper trays can also break so there are certain instances where you would need to replace the paper tray to repair your hp laserjet 4250 13.20 paper jam in tray 2. A quick visual inpsection of the paper tray will reveal any defects. If the paper tray seems intact try replacing the separation and pickup rollers. One of the two will most likely fix your hp laser 4250 13.20 paper jam problem.
HP LASERJET 4250 TN PAPER JAM: MISSING PAPER-FALSE PAPER JAM
Q: We have a paper jam in our HP laserjet 4250. We pulled out the paper but accidentally tore the paper in half. Somewhere the other half is in the printer but we cannot see it and now the printer is giving us an error 13.20.
A: Open the toner access lid and pull the toner cartridge out. If you cannot find the culprit causing your paper jam open the rear door and look for paper there. You should be able to locate it by checking those common spots. It is possible that the reason your 4250 paper jam is occurring is that the paper is stuck behind the multi-purpose tray assembly. That being the case you would probably have to call service on it seeing that it is a pretty involved repair.
P LASERJET 4250 JAM IN OUTPUT ASSEMBLY
Q: I have an HP Laserjet 4250 paper jam in the output assembly. Recently I have opened the back door and allowed the paper to bypass the output assembly. I recently replaced all the rollers that I could get to in the paper tray 2 and tray 1. What type of fix is out there so I can go back to printing as the machine was intended?
A: From the sound of it, it looks like you have a defective HP Laserjet 4250 output assembly. Replacing that part should do the trick and clear your hp laser 4250 jam in output assembly. It is possible that the 4250 fuser assembly gear that drives the output assembly is faulty, so I do recommend inspecting the fuser as well, just to be safe
HP LASERJET 4250N PAPER JAM: CAN'T FIND PAPER
Q: I have a Laserjet 4250n printer and it says there is a paper jam in the fuser, but I cannot find any paper. Where is the fuser located in the 4250 series printer and how can I fix my printer?
A: The fuser for the 4250 series is in the rear of the machine. If you look in the back you will see a part with two blue clips. You simply need to remove the rear door and then release the two clips. It is possible that the Fuser assembly flag is malfunctioning and causing your hp laserjet 4250 false paper jam error. Try jogging the sensor flag to see if it has the correct action. If that does not work then you could try replacing the fuser assembly, but sometimes the 4250 false paper jam errors don’t directly point to the problem. I have seen paper jam in fuser errors be something totally different. Though that is rare, it is something to keep in mind when trying to cure your hp 4250 false paper jam problems.
HP LASERJET 4250N PAPER JAM IN FUSER ERROR 50.2
Q: Recently our HP Laserjet 4250n has been showing a paper jam error 50.2 message. What is the recommended action at this point.
A: The error 50 fuser message for the 4250 means that the fuser assembly isn’t heating up properly and most likely indicates a waning heating element. If your 4250 paper jams and now has a fuser malfunction, its time to replace your laserjet 4250 fuser assembly. Check your page count by printing a configuration page. If you are between 150,000 and 200,000 pages I would say install a laserjet 4250n maintenance kit. The hp 4250 maintenance kit includes your fuser plus all your rollers as well. This should fix your hp laserjet 4250 jamming in fuser problem as well as your error 50. Hp laserjet 4250 maintenance kits are easy to install and will more or less get your printer running in the fashion that you are accustomed to
HP LASER 4250 CREASINGING PAPER AND JAMMING
Q: I have an HP laserjet 4250 with a paper jam in tray 2. When it pulls the paper from the paper tray it makes an awful crunching noise. The paper will sometimes get jammed in the printer, but sometimes the paper makes it out and not only is the paper crunched but it also has toner blotches on it.
A: Whenever I see a 4250 crumpling paper and jamming I always check the source of where it is printing from. Make sure that the rear and side tabs are set to their intended paper size. I have seen many times mis-aligned paper trays cause hp laser 4250 crumpling and paper jamming problems. If the paper tray is set as intended, I would look at the paper feed guide assembly. Try printing a sample print from the 4250 tray 1. By printing from the tray 1 you bypass the paper feed guide assembly. If the feed assembly is causing the crumpling and jamming you will be able to isolate it with that particular paper path test. If it prints from the tray 1 and does not paper jam, then you know it is either something with the paper tray or with the media feed guide assembly. A broken or mis aligned paper tray is easy to spot with a quick visual inspection.
HP LASER 4250 13.01.00 PAPER JAM
Q: We have an hp laserjet 4250 with a 13.01.00 paper jam. The paper will get pulled from the tray and stop not even a quarter of the way up. It doesn’t even seem to go through its typical cycle and then it will just paper jam. How do I fix my laser 4250 13.01.00 paper jam error.
A: From the way you are describing your hp laser 4250 13.01.00 paper jam I would start with thinking that there may be a problem with the way the pickup unit is working. First try testing the printer from the tray 1. If it is void of a 13.01.00 paper jam we know that there is something happening in the tray 2. Visually inspect the paper tray to eliminate it as a paper jamming suspect. From there I would take a closer look at the timing of the paper pickup assembly, though more appropriate for a hp printer technician.
