*Consumable parts versus hardware parts
Parts that need to be replaced on a routine basis due to normal wear and tear are considered to be consumable parts. These consumable parts have a life span and are designed to be replaced at regular intervals. Hardware parts are much more expensive and consist of PC boards, power supplies, scanner assemblies, network cards, and other high ticket items. Generally, any part that does not have a life span is considered to be a hardware part and is covered under our TonerCare Program.
